About

I am a clinical psychologist who provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I also work with parents to provide skills coaching and with families to address clinical problems impacting the family unit. Additionally, I provide Family Based Treatment (FBT) for families of adolescents with disordered eating. I work collaboratively with my clients, taking an active, empathic and non-judgmental stance to support growth as they work to make difficult changes and achieve treatment goals.

Clinical Background

I earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Prior to completing my doctoral degree, I earned my MA and BA in Psychology from New York University. I completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Child and Adolescent Psychology and a postdoctoral fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychology at NY Presbyterian/Weil Cornell Medical Center’s Westchester Division. Prior to private practice, I was an Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Attending Psychologist in Montefiore Medical Center’s Child Outpatient Psychiatry Department, where I also worked clinically within the Eating Disorder Program at Montefiore (EDPM). I am currently a member of several professional organizations including the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy (ABCT), Connecticut Psychological Association (CPA), and the Women’s Mental Health Consortium (WMHC).

Throughout my clinical career, I have worked in a variety of treatment settings including outpatient hospital clinics, community-based mental health clinics, inpatient hospitals, and schools. I have experience working with individuals of many genders, sexual orientations, racial and ethnic identities, and religious and spiritual backgrounds. I offer a safe and inclusive space for individuals of any background in my clinical practice.
